Candle & Home Safety
Are your candles and wax melts safe to use around children and pets?
Yes! Our commitment to clean home fragrance means we use 100% natural soy wax and phthalate-free, paraben-free fragrances. This means no toxic soot or harmful chemicals floating around your loved ones.
For maximum safety: We highly recommend our wax melts for homes with curious toddlers or active pets, as they provide a beautiful scent throw completely flame-free!
Safety reminder: Always burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, and keep both candles and warmers out of reach of little hands and paws.
Why does the top of my candle look bumpy after I burn it?
Don’t worry, your candle isn’t defective! A rough, bumpy, or frosted surface after cooling is actually the signature sign of 100% pure, natural soy wax. Because we don’t add toxic paraffin or synthetic stabilizers to our wax, it resets in its natural state. It won’t affect the scent or the quality of your next burn at all.

The Art of Wax Melts
Is it safe to mix different wax melt scents together?
Absolutely—in fact, we encourage you to play chandler in your own home! Mixing wax melt cubes is completely safe and a fantastic way to create a custom fragrance.
Pro-Tip: Check out our Scent Guide to find complementary notes. For example, try snapping a cube of a fresh, citrus scent and dropping it in the warmer alongside a woody or floral cube to create a balanced, layered aroma. You control the strength and the blend!
How do I change out the wax in my warmer?
When your wax melt has lost its fragrance (usually after a few days of warming), it’s time for a fresh cube. Let the wax cool and harden completely. Then, place the warming dish in the freezer for about 10–15 minutes. The wax will shrink slightly and pop right out in one solid disc! Wipe the dish clean with a paper towel, and it’s ready for your next Candelitas scent.

How far in advance should I place a bulk order?
Because every single candle is hand-poured in small batches, we require a minimum lead time of 3 to 4 weeks for bulk orders. This ensures we have the supplies on hand and gives the soy wax proper time to cure so your candles smell amazing the moment they are opened. For exceptionally large orders or during the busy holiday season, please reach out even earlier!
Can I customize the labels for my event?
Absolutely. Since I design all of our labels in-house, we can work together to create a beautiful, custom label that matches your event’s theme or color palette. Whether it’s adding your names, the date, or a special thank-you message, we’ll make sure your favors look as incredible as they smell.

What is white labeling, and do you offer it?
We do! White labeling is perfect for boutiques, salons, or brands that want to sell high-quality, eco-friendly candles under their own name. We handle the tedious craft of melting, mixing, and hand-pouring our signature 100% soy wax into the vessels. We deliver the finished, unbranded candles to you, and you simply apply your own company’s labels.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for white label services?
We want to support other small businesses, so we keep our minimums approachable. Our white label orders start at an MOQ of 12 candles. You can split this across different scents to give your customers variety.
Can you help me create a custom signature scent for my brand?
Yes! If you want a fragrance that is exclusive to your business, we can schedule a scent-blending consultation. We will tap into our library of phthalate-free fragrance oils to develop a unique blend that captures your brand’s identity perfectly.
Do you provide the jars, or can I provide my own?
We have a curated selection of beautiful, high-quality glass and tin vessels that we know perform beautifully with our cotton wicks and soy wax. However, if you have a specific vessel in mind, we can test it! You can ship us a sample of your container, and we will conduct a burn test to ensure it is safe and provides a great scent throw before committing to a full production run.
